2010 Peachtree City Classic - October 16, 2010
About the Race
The Peachtree City Classic consists of three different races: Women's 5K, Men's 5K and the 15K Open which is also the RRCA Southern Region Championship and the USATF Georgia Association Championship. All races are on certified courses. Races are run mostly on paved golf cart paths that will take you through the green belt areas, by lakes, through small tunnels, across bridges and on the scenic routes through the planned community of Peachtree City. The course was voted the Best Course by Georgia Athlete Magazine.
From Atlanta - take I-85 south to exit 61, Peachtree City. Turn left onto Hwy 74 and go 11 miles to the intersection of Hwy 74 & Hwy 54. Turn left onto Hwy 54, and third traffic light turn right onto Peachtree Parkway. Follow traffic control.

Age Groups and Awards
Overall awards to top 3 M/F in Open and Masters for all races.
Awards to the top 3 M/F in the following age groups: 10 & under (5K), 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.
RRCA Regional Championship awards to top 3 M/F Open and Masters Finishers the15K. Fayette Fitness Challenge Corporate Team Awards.

Race Registration
$5.00 OFF for EARLY REGISTRATION
Entry Fee in 5K's will be $20 before 8/15, $25 from 8/16-9/30, $30 10/1 and after.
Entry Fee in 15K will be $23 before 8/15, $28 from 8/16-9/30, $33 10/1 and after.

Packet Pick-up
All local runners must pick up their race packets on Friday night between 4:30 and 8:30 at the Dolce Atlanta Peachtree Hotel, 201 Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City, GA 30269. For directions, call the hotel at (770) 487-2666. Packets not picked up on Friday night will be available Saturday morning in the parking lot of the Frederick Brown Amphitheater prior to 7:45..

Race Day Expo
A Race Day Expo will be held Saturday from 7:00 – 11:00 am in the parking lot of the Frederick Brown Amphitheater. The expo will include health and fitness products, sponsors, and selected vendors. If you are interested in participating, email ptcrcexpo@yahoo.com.
